Drift Recovery: A Simple 3-Step Reset

This is a short exercise users can review for Drift Recovery.

Step 1: Name the Drift

Write down:

  • What feels off?
  • What recent choices didn’t align with your values?

  • Where you’ve been acting from pressure instead of principle?

Naming reveals the pattern.

Step 2: Identify the Constant

Choose one value, truth, or personal standard you want to rebuild around.
Ask:

  • What part of me do I want to act from?
  • What would staying true to myself look like today?

This is your anchor point.

Step 3: Make One Aligned Decision

Not a lifestyle change or a full overhaul just one micro-decision that matches your constant.

Examples:
• Saying “No” when you usually say yes
• Asking for clarity instead of assuming
• Speaking up in one meeting
• Resting instead of pushing
• Naming your boundary out loud

One aligned decision interrupts drift.
